I was very extremly happy with my hair what I thought was impossible they made possible! The workers there were very nice and they made me feel very comfortable & welcoming by offering homemade cookies and coffee! I've been looking for a good hair salon for a while and sassafras salon is just right for me ! Definitely recommend!!
I would never recommend anybody to go to the hacks on peach street!!! My wife went in to get her hair trimmed and colored, and the stylist Marylyn Lessnau, took over a foot of her hair off. When my wife talked to Marilyn she explained to her that she only wanted 2 or 3 inches taken off, and colored. I don't know how the stylist ended up taking 12 inches off, instead of 2 to 3 inches... their shouldn't of been any miscommunication when it comes to that. When my wife noticed how much was cut off, she started to cry, saying you cut half of my hair off. In response Marilyn said to my wife " I don't know what you want me to do, we don't do extensions here", with an attitude. My wife has been growing her hair for many years to get it to the length she had it, and with four snips of her scissors she hacked half of it off. After watching my wife cry herself to sleep that night, I decided to call the owner myself the next morning. I got the owner on the phone, only to find out that she was in the salon during this situation. Upon finding this out, my anger rose to an even higher level. How do you own a business and have a situation like this occur, and never once get involved? The owner stated she heard the whole situation, until I quoted some of the stylist statements, and then she said she didn't hear those parts. At no point did the stylist or owner show any remorse for hacking her hair off.
