His actions are intolerable, disruptive "physicians" have been tolerated thus far by employers , but the tide is changing and these guys are being handled the way they should have been along time ago, terminate the problem and not the clients.
I have been going here for awhile &if you have side effects to the meds they will put you on a different type of meds with the same side effects. &they switch you from doctor to doctor here&if you call them you have to wIt about 4 days till they call you back.
Almost impossible to get in. 3 hour wait on intake just to fill out paperwork. Staff was rude and inconsiderate. Will never use them again.
Mathew Behan is a fraud , he does not belong as Medical Director! His ego is oversized and God forbid you challenge his "authority" and request a competent provider who you can possibly have a theraputec relationship with and ge has a temper tantrum, and has zero reservation about firing patients to make an "example out of them" .
Have been going off and on for a few years. Speedy answers and excellent care. Can have really long wait times without an appointment.
They were discharged to zero services, the clients therapist had been such since before Mathew even arrived at SHBH, appointed during the Dr.Ralph Walton administration ( a very competent Psychiatrist)
*Mathew is also involved in the Erie county drug and alcohol program as his sub specialty is addictionology .
He capitalized on the oppurtunity of firing a patient being discharged from the Hospital, why were they there? Because support staff could see he was not doing his job, neccestating stabiliztion of the patient
Insight and empathy for clints are lacking! And his instructors failed Mathew by allowing him to graduate without the clinical or social skills to interact with patients.
One day soon he will come to regret his failure to act/ duty to act as a physician, then again maybe his school did not train him in critical thinking or for that matter instill in him the basic tenents of practicing medicine, as i have said many times He will " practice" and cause harm to all his patients in the region untill
Its been ok so far, my therapist is nice but they're pushy about putting you on medication
