I will update this review when this company rights their wrongs. My mother-in-law continues to have a horrible experience with this company. She ordered new furniture and it showed up not in new condition.
Can't say enough good about Arthur F. Schultz!! All of the staff are welcoming, friendly, and professional - Bob Lipski is our fav!! I love, love, love the recliner I bought last year, it's a beautiful, unique color, sturdy, and a very well-built Lazy-Boy!! I haven't lived in Erie too long, but had a horrible experience with the other Schultz, and furniture row charges $75 to deliver, so of course, did not do THAT, instead had to find someone with a truck to pick-it up for me. Thanks Arthur F!!
When the sectional arrived, it was dirty, and had yellow "water marks" all over it. We also purchased a leather set for the upstairs....the chair looks worn, and the backs of both the chair and matching couch are rippled. We are so disappointed.
Expensive furniture but you pay for what you get. This stuff is well made and lasts.
But the most disappointing part of this whole fiasco, is when we contacted the store, Arthur F. Schultz in Erie, they told us "you have to contact the manufacturer yourself or I can email them and see if they will call you". Huh????
The president of the company, John Blakeslee, was rude and condescending and is not trying to help us at all. All we want is want we paid for and we didn't pay for dirty, second-rate furniture.
I have worked with Karen Rastatter on several projects for both work on now for home too. She has proven to be highly professional and truly listened to my needs. The matching chairs that I just purchased for home are "perfect" and the design is perfectly matched on both chairs! I won't go anywhere else for my furniture needs. Thanks Arthur F. Schultz!
I believe a retailer should stand behind the products they sell or at least work with the client. A customer shouldn't have to contact the manufacturer themselves.
If we don't get satisfaction, our next step is to contact the State Attorney General for the Commonwealth of PA and the Better Business Bureau and possibly our attorney.
