March 30,2015 went to St Vincent's ER after internally bleeding for 4 days & had no clue I was basically on my death bed the ER told me he was going to do @ he could to figure out why I was so sick so I would not die...HE DID!

My sister just delivered her baby by c section and the nursing staff on duty is the rudest I've ever witnessed. They are so not ungentle is unbelievable!!! They just throw around the new born and my very weak sister they rag dolls. Whether your busy or not there is no need to have a bad attitude and be careless. I do not recommend having a child or have surgery done at this hospital!!!

I have always loved St Vincent. This time around I have never been so unhappy! My daughter was treated very poorly after having a c-section. She buzzed for a nurse in the night and no one came to help her. The fallowing morning the next nurse on duty was mean and bossy and made my daughter cry. All I can say is I wouldn't recommend anyone to have there baby here after the way they treated my daughter! Very unprofessional and rude and I hope these people are held accountable for their actions.

I am 4EVER GRATEFUL FOR ST. VINCENT'S ER TEAM AND DR.BRIAN JONES FOR SAVING MY LIFE!

Unbelievable! My fiance takes my sick daughter to St Vincent hospital of Erie two weeks ago after a couple of weeks with illness that was not letting up. They end up in fast-track with a overly confident PA. My daughter has symptoms of flu (fevers malaise). My fiance was not convinced that it was just a flu/cold. She urged the PA for further testing to which the PA told her she would not be running unnecessary tests. She is treated quickly and given a script for a prophylactic dose of antibiotics. I received the "transition of care" paperwork noting that they decided to give my non-sexually active daughter a pregnancy test. (remember they will not administer tests that are not necessary)

Fast Forward another week. This time my daughter wakes up with extreme pain in extremities. They take the ambulance in to the hospital fearing something serious. After arriving, St. Vincent again take them to fast track. This time my fiance tells them that our daughter has been in serious pain since she woke up and that she administered an adult dose of ibuprofen (800mg) an hour ago and it hasn't touched her pain. They brought in tylenol. After this response from the hospital we made arrangements to immediately leave this facility. On our way to Hamot Hospital the staff of St Vincent called to tell us that we need to get to another facility quickly and have them call for the test results because they are "critical". That day my child was transferred to Pittsburgh and further diagnosed with Leukemia. If St Vincent would have done the testing and/or a proper medical evaluation, examination and testing they would have seen all of the warning signs that we so readily apparent after her CBC showed nearly 170,000 white blood cells (normal range is 12,000) We could have dealt with this earlier and maybe without the severe pain and panic. This is not the first time a Physicians Assistant or Nurse Practitioner has come up short in the care of my loved ones.

Dr. Brian Jones was called in & SAVED MY LIFE BY EMERGENCY SURGERY OF REMOVING MY SPLEEN .

Thank you always!

The fact that sombody was bleeding and feeling dizzy and possibly having a miscarriage.. I just think that they should have been seen right away.. instead of having other patients ahead of them.. the hospital sucks and they are the second worse hospital in Erie Pennsylvania.. there right behind milcreek.. very very low down hospital..
