I love this library! Great selection and nice atmosphere. The staff is very nice. Good selection of art books and had the newer books I was looking for also, on science and economics (for general public.)
My friends and I go here often to get away from the hustle and bustle of the average places to go to.
Recommended even though there is construction. Study rooms are available, and staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, schedules are not always up to date, which can interfere with scheduled study hours and waste a study trip.
I love the Erie library for #1 the selection of CDs to rent. You can take out like up to 20 or 30? and surprisingly, they have a huge diverse selection! Tons of my fav. artists like Classic Rock, Pop, Country, and also the DVD/Documentary sections are huge too! They also have a lot of space for tables for people to focus and study. It's a beautiful place and it's always very quite. I hope they put in a coffee bar someday, and maybe even an outdoor seating area in the back by the water!! :) How cool would that be!?
I travel all the way from North East, PA to Blasco because not only do they have a better variety and selection of books. They are so much more friendly there. I always get greeted when I enter and leave. A few librarians have even started getting to know me.
