I highly recommend Activecare!
This was my first experience with physical therapy and it was for lower back pain. Arthritis, bony spurs and some disk issues.
I did my observation hours at Activecare Physical Therapy to finish off my applications for PT school. In the short month and a half I was there, I learned so much watching Ehren, Julie and Derek. They helped me learn so much about the ins and outs of physical therapy and really helped me reassure that this professions is what I want to do with my life. They really care about their patients and want to help them and are willing to go the extra mile for anyone that walks in the door. I would recommend anyone who needs physical therapy to Activecare and I hope one day I can be as successful as they are!
I have been done with therapy for about three weeks now and I feel great. The biggest take away is the routine of exercises and stretches. They showed me how to modify for days when there is more pain and also as I continue to get stronger.
Ehren and his Team are absolutely wonderful. They quickly put me at ease and formulated a plan just for me. The office ladies are very flexible with scheduling and nice to work with.
I chose to go to Activecare for PT on my knees because it is near where I live. However after only two appointments, I would now insist on going there because of the quality of care and the employees. Ehren and each professional that I met this past week and a half have been kind, are cool, and most importantly appear to be genuinely interested in helping me get better. I think always have thought that Erie residents should do try to support local businesses whenever possible and in this case i think that it would be in your best interest anyway if you need physical therapy. As you might have guessed, I highly recommend them.
I can confidently recommend Activecare to anyone recovering from an injury, surgery or just in need of addressing chronic pains or issues. They know what they are doing and are great to work with.
The staff at Activecare is attentive, knowledgeable and caring. They do not apply a "one-size fits all" approach to treatment. Instead, they take the time to recognize your specific issues as well as all unique factors to ensure meaningful treatment. They also factor in your specific goals, and then work diligently with you to help you achieve your goals. The staff is friendly, personable and motivating.
As a PTA student I was given the opportunity to spend six weeks learning and practicing my skills under the supervision of the staff at Activecare. I was greatly impressed by their extensive knowledge, and genuine sense of caring. The therapists at Activecare were constantly working side by side with their patient's, always available to answer questions and provide direction. Not once over the course of my six week rotation did I hear a patient complain about lack of attention, or feeling as if their needs were not being met. Ehren and his staff are able to treat a wide range of injuries/diagnoses, and they work tirelessly to help their patients recover and reach their goals.
