I had recently (10/1) scheduled an appointment with Steve and after arriving he had noticed my vehicle leaking transmission fluid. After addressing the original reason for my appointment (Oxygen sensor) he was able to quote, repair, and test my vehicle same day for a price that no other shop could come close to. Steve's dedication to his vocation and his costumers is why I always go to him when I have any automotive questions and/or repairs, and the commute from Pittsburgh to Erie is well worth it. Steve's Auto will continue to have my business and my support. Can't thank Steve enough.
I would definitely recommend Steve if you need work done on your car. He seems very knowledgeable and honest--qualities that are indicative of a good mechanic and a good person. If I ever need my car worked on again, Steve will be the first one I call.

I went to Steve's at the recommendation of one of my co-workers. I expected this to be a similar experience with the other auto shops I went to before (Nolan's Auto Shop and Angelo's Transmission) - Needless to say those places were OK but I wanted another consultation (My car - '89 Mercury Grand Marquis - was having transmission issues). After explaining my situation to Steve, he very thoroughly explained to me what was wrong, what repairs my car needed, showed and explained to me the difference between good and bad parts for the transmission, gave me his price for the repairs, and even recommended me to Automatic Transmissions of Erie for a cheaper price! Steve didn't have to do any of those things for me - Being a college student (and obviously being strapped for cash) made my situation even more difficult, but because of what Steve taught me and the direction he pointed me in, I was able to get my transmission rebuilt for much cheaper than what the competitors were offering. Steve comes off as well-educated, and being an honest, but fair man. I highly recommend Steve and would go back to him in an instant with any other auto issues I may experience.
First time there as we live right next door basically now. Very nice and friendly. Great work and no BS repairs that aren't needed.
Where to begin. I was driving from Kentucky to upstate ny and my alternator went out on my truck. Called a few shops and no one answered my out of state number. Steve promptly answered and came to rescue and met me within 10 minutes and the alternator was in and out in no time at all. This guy knows his stuff and is more than fair on price.
