While you may have received friendly service when you were there don't count on them to back what they sell.
Don't use Lowe's for anything big.
I am so mad about the service/help we didn't get from Lowe's. We bought a product from Lowe's that was advertised frequently. It was for our deck. It was new you paint it on and it is supposed to look like and last longer than stain. In August of 2015 we bought their product AND FOLLOWED the instructions. Come spring it was all peeling! It was awful we couldn't have our usual family/friends gathering. My husband spent so much time on this it was heartbreaking. He has had 3 hip replacements on the same hip so it was no easy feat doing this.

Today they didn't have the size water pipe we we're looking for. We found it at Home Depot though. 1 3/4 inch. They are usually fine though.
Had to cut my own braded hose, staff didn't respond, so I found a cutting tool and did it myself. Thank goodness they leave tools around for the public to use.
I will not do business with them ever again!!! We have remodeled 3 bathrooms with their products and have bought numerous other items. Gardening, Christmas, chandlers, fans etc.
They were very courteous friendly and professional, I had no problem finding everything that I needed for my home

I called the store they gave me a number and at first it was oh to bad. Finally through persistence and sending pictures of our deck, the reciepts, and the product we used they sent someone out. She was very nice. Sge couldnt believe what gad happened. In the meantime I broke my knee and was out of commission for 8 weeks. I tried to keep up with the correspondence. He said he would give us $275. However, I also have a herniated disc in my back and my husband's knee was having issues. The time it was going to take for us if we could do it was insane. I wasn't satisfied. I thought the least they could have done was send someone out to redo it. I broke my other knee in November was laid up until January. If you haven't guessed we are in a 60's .
Here we are summer of 2017 no money from them no more correspondence. My deck looks like we'll I won't use the words. It is so hard to get down on our knees and back issues it makes me even more angry!
I found everything I needed at a good price. And was in and out fast
