When I walked into the Erie Home Depot with my Saint Bernard, we were greeted very warmly. Every employee who saw us greeted both of us and petted Sophie. I received clear direction to the items I needed and was able to make my purchase very quickly. I am so glad to know me and my Saint are welcome in this Home Depot and a bit sad that is not the case in the one close to my home. The people in the Erie store are great. Thanks everyone!
So, my husband and I were shopping for a new stove and went to several retailers, ended up at home Depot on peach and found the perfect one, clearance, scratched up and on sale for $1149... offered $800 on the spot, but told no, they would only take $1000. May seem accommodating but was told by the same dismissive associate that it will be reduced to around $600 in two weeks. Not accommodating if we are offering over $200 more than they might sell it for. Very disappointing that the manager would not even talk to us and the associate seemed bothered.
Went in to ask if hardwood that we ordered was in yet. Was told that it was never ordered because they put in wrong numbers. No one did anything about it. Will be speaking with manager. It was already charged to credit card even though they never ordered.
Good customer service. Easy to fund products. Friendly environment.
Very nice place to shop I use the electric Department quite a few times and John that works in the electrical section was very very knowledgeable and very nice.
