When they went to move the trailer on Tuesday they discovered that it had a bent axle that they somehow didn't notice on their other trips out to look at the trailer and that it would need replaced, so we rented one of their axles for $125 thinking that "well, what's another $125?"
What was supposed to be a 1 day escapade turned into a 4 day one, which really stunted our plans to have the gas, electric, and water hooked up before the weekend to have the inspector come out and look at it. Had I realized that they were going to be mediocre at best, I would have given another business my money.
Then, on Friday we discovered that they didn't even bother to disconnect the plumbing or electrical correctly. They hacked off all the PVC pipe with a saw and ripped all the wires out of the fuse box.
The next morning comes along and they get everything into place, but somehow they didn't finish the tie-downs and had to come back on Thursday to finish them.
My wife and I are fairly reasonable people. Had Powell's contacted us and said "we can't disconnect these pipes or the electric, do you mind if we cut the pipes and remove the wires from the box?" we probably wouldn't have had an issue with it, but they did it without so much as a word to us.
Some of the cheapest mobile home movers in the area. The only problem with that is, you're going to get extremely cheap work.
On the way from McKean to Saegertown, instead of avoiding the round-a-bouts and taking 86, they decided to take 79 and go through two round-a-bouts. They blew 7 tires and bent two rims because of a bent axle and going through the round-a-bouts then instead of finishing the job, they parked our home at a random business less than half a mile away from where it was being moved to to wait till Wednesday to finish it.
Honest and dependable people
We were scheduled to have our trailer moved from McKean to Saegertown on a Monday. The weather kinda screwed us and pushed it back a day, which wasn't a big deal at the time and we were told it would be there on Tuesday and all setup before they left. That didn't happen. At all.
