The cruise itself was nice at the sunset hour.
Great Food, clean boat, smooth sailing, great specialty drinks, (I recommend the Coconut Tree Colada), great staff and great live music. I highly recommend this boat cruise.
We took the captain dinner cruise. We had taken one in Pittsburgh that was very nice with a delicious sit down dinner and entertainment. We were hoping for the same experience on the Victoria Princess. Unfortunately, we were disappointed in the Victoria Princess's food and casual atmosphere. It wasn't what we expected for $100.
My wife and I enjoyed the "Sunset" sightseeing tour, although it was October and the sunset was past at 7pm. This should have been adjusted seasonally. The staff was mostly friendly. The boat ride lasted 2 hours, which was too long for what it was. Still, we enjoyed it.
Great way to spend an evening. The crew is nice and polite. Great atmosphere to just relax and see the Erie waterfront.
It's always great totaled a cruise when you're already near the waters edge. The Victorian Princess is an extremely agile vessel that the crew pilots expertly. The rest of the staff was very efficient in meeting the needs of every guest. The cost was more than worth the trip. The bar was open and not too expensive, even for the top shelf brands. Try it... you'll love it!
