Labor Day
I would give no stars if I was able. We were there to have our 5yr old lab put to sleep because his cancer had gotten so bad he could hardly walk. They made us wait for the funeral home to get there befote they would put him to sleep. ( By the way Burtons Pet Services are awsome).They are only interested in money...... There was a mother and son in the waiting room with an 8 month old dog that had been hit by a car. They instantly went to critical care and demanded $1000.00 . The son had $750.00 available on his bank card and they insisted on the full $1000.00 . They made the mother apply for care credit before they would treat the poor dog. Totally awful!!!!!! They are only in it for the money. The only hours they are open is when all other vets are closed leaving you with no other options. Totally ripping people off. They should be ashamed of themselves......

Having read the previous reviews I felt i had to share my experience. I was extremely apprehensive about taking my dog there when he suddenly got sick last night because I had read them. They were the only emergency vet so I had no choice. While I agree it's extremely expensive I don't understand why you would expect otherwise. The staff there was very kind and understanding. My poor baby was very sick and at no point was I pressured to go the very expensive route and try and save him. When I told the vet of my decision he actually agreed with me and said that was the best choice. Not even 10 min later before they could set up so I could say goodbye to my friend he passed away on his own. I have no words for how kind and caring these people were to me today, especially when there aren't words to make anyone feel better. I would take any animal I had back there if I ever needed to. I would of paid anything if I had thought that there was a way to save my dog.
Hours of Operation
We've been twice with our cat, and both times everyone on staff was professional and friendly and our boy got the care he needed, and they have always promptly sent the info to our vet so they can properly do the follow-up.
Praise the Lord that this place is available.
Week Nights
When it’s 2:00AM on Christmas Eve.... and your puppy is dying from an allergic reaction.... guess who is open and ready to save it’s life.... this place is.
8pm - 8am Monday through Friday
Anyone that complains about their pricing, is being unrealistic and ignoring what service they offer. They told me the pricing up front. Just like we do.
The hours and service make them priceless. They deserve 10 stars.

We have 2 miniature dachshunds that are 13 years old. They have helped save both of them multiple times. I know many others that love their service and I hope they have a gmail account so they can share their story.

Weekends
Last summer our Viszla was attacked by a pit bull and had severe damage to his leg. We aren't from this area, only camp there and were recommended to take him there to be seen. They did an amazing job, took him right into surgery and fixed his leg. Just this past weekend, our 6 month old min pin became sick, so again we visited here. Her blood work came back that she was in full kidney failure, so we chose to put her to sleep instead of her suffering anymore. The staff was awesome with us during both situations. The vet did a great job going over everything with us thoroughly and comforting us in our decision. Thank you for everything!!
