Marriott is always our first choice. Great service, beautiful fresh rooms and best sleep. Only rated a 4 because I'm not used to having to pay for my parking!! But the view was excellent.
I just finished my fourth stay with this Erie Courtyard. I had the opportunity to stay in one of their premiere suites. This was one my best experience to date at a courtyard. The room was like a small apartment --enough room to comfortably spread out with a separate bed room -- floor to ceiling windows with a view of the Lake. If you can you should stay in one of there rooms ... total relaxation and quiet. I also wanted to complement Paul the manager on duty ... he went out of his way to make this a fantastic experience!
We went for my sister's bachelorette party. It was to be a nice getaway on the lake. First, you must pay for parking in the middle of no where, then you get to check in with the most classless people, lastly you get into a room that wasn't properly cleaned from the last guests. The check in tipped us off from the start as the woman was rude and gave us no courtesy. We stated our dissatisfaction and she simply let us know she was the manager. We ended up telling Twitter what a dismal time we had. They helped us immediately and we will try them again because of that simple fact.
This is a typical courtyard by Marriott, and that's a good thing. Clean and welcoming with well-trained and courteous staff. The location was great, right on the bay. Parking was slightly confusing upon arrival as the entry is not near the property entrance but overall this was a non-issue.
Words can not describe how excellent this hotel is maintained. I have never felt more welcomed and appreciate (and I’ve traveled to many many places). The courtyard was relaxing, decorated very tastefully, the food was delicious, and everything was clean, neat, and presentable. I own a concierge business and know how difficult it is to find dedicated employees that care about their performance and presentation to clients. The courtyard has done just that; keep up the amazing work, keep smiling, and thank you for such a warm welcoming.
