While it wasn't the best hotel I've ever stayed in, I wouldn't hesitate to book another trip there.
Stayed 1 night. Staff was incredible and friendly. Very quiet and never heard a pet. Very clean room and my 85 lb. Golden retriever was very happy to stay with his people. Highly recommend!
I would recommend bringing a pillow from home if you can swing it, the loss of one star was mostly for the extra firmness of the mattress and pillows alike. The beds seemed comfortable at first but the mornings were a slightly different story.
We know we won't get our money back or give us a different room. I wanted to cancel but they couldn't cancel, but now with the room reeking of being MUSTY and MILDEW smells. I am not sure if I will make it all night. It absolutely STINKS!!! I would be ashamed. If you can get over the smell I would give it a 4 or 5 star but the smell sorry it's lucky to get a 1star, because IT is a big deal!. Room # 136. Outside that room is was all good. But the smell over took the bad.
Thank you for your service and compassion!
We made a reservation at a competitor La Quinta and when we arrived their housekeeping did not clean any rooms hence we had no place to stay at 12midnight (with 2 dogs). We called Red Roof next door and they were very helpful and immediately got us a room and gave us a HUGE discount. The room was very clean and we slept very well.
The people at the front desk are very nice though and offered maps and directions whenever we checked in or stopped down. They have coffee and tea 24/7 in the lobby and while they don't have breakfast available at the hotel, they do have a deal with the McDonald's next door and offer vouchers for breakfast there.
We are here now. We ordered 2 rooms. One for my sister and one for us. I will give it a 1star for it is clean. I normally just do a 5 star but I can't on this one. Our room SMELLS horrible. My sisters is across the a walk thru and hers does not stinks.
The other reason for losing a star was due to housekeeping running the vacuum so early. Being on vacation, we wanted to sleep in a bit (plus some people could be staying there while working nights) but the vacuum started up around 8am. When the rooms are so close together, you can't help but wake up whenever it kicks up.
Rooms were comfortable. Bathroom doors don't lock which is a bit annoying. Great for the price.
This hotel is pretty easy to find. The prices are fair (about $280 for 4 nights in a room with 2 beds booked not too far in advance) and it's very well kept.
