My husband and I brought our 2 grandchildren for an overnight stay on 10/14/17. Loved Splash lagoon and hotel seemed great unfortunately there was a major issue my husband had surgery the day before we arrived and I had competed chemo therapy a couple weeks prior we went to the hotel pool around 8pm came down on elevator and about half hour later when we tried to go back to our room elevator was malfunctioning doors would open and close but nothing else. We went to the front desk to ask if there was an issue and the person at the desk said oh it happens all the time you will have to use the stairs this was difficult for both my husband and I with heath issue since we were on the 3rd floor there also did not appear to be any signs show the way to the stair well. I did not book a hotel stay expecting to not have access to an elevator luckily we were able to make back to our room. Not sure I would book this hotel again.

It was a great stay overnight. Rooms had everything, (kitchen includes microwave, a full sized fridage and a mini stovetop). And even a JACUZZI. Breakfast in the morning was a choice of Scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, yogurt and 4 juice selection.

We liked this hotel. It has a very nice hot tub and pool. Very clean. It is attached to splash lagoon which is why we booked. We spent more time in the hotel pool and hot tub because it was clean and warmer water. (Splash lagoon is dirty and cold water) I do think it was a bit over-priced, but the connection to splash lagoon was convenient. I do think this was the nicest of the 3 connected hotels. I would give it 5 stars, except I feel it was a bit too expensive. The room itself was great and the bed very roomy and comfy.

Waited 10 minutes to check in... without a line. Staff was scarce. Kids running up and down hallway past 11pm. Ceiling must be thin because even after the complaint the loud footsteps continued. This isn't me being picky the footsteps were so bad the plates in the cabinet in my kitchen rattled! So the construction of this hotel was bad. Plenty of other choices in the area. Avoid.

Overall a very positive stay at School Lagoon. The hotel was largely uneventful. The room was nice and large. Food was above average. One criticism: they were out of towels for the pool. Rather than offer room/bath towels instead, we were told "too bad". Would have been a 4 or 5 star stay otherwise.
