OMG...sat down at 715, reservations for 730, appetizers were normal time, its now 913 and no food and now no excuses.... ruined my night. Is there a negative 1? Ok wait... 926 just got our food rare tuna came out well done. More to come since apparently our chef is the owner and he has yet to come out and appoligize.... chef did come out and appoligize, they comped bill, but i will never be back.
It will take us a LONG time before we return or recommend Alto Cucina to our family and friends.
First time I have been less than satisfied, party of 15, which we did have a reservation, time between salad a dinner unacceptable. Time of all entrees coming out at the same time, WAY OFF, temperature of food, Luke warm. One entree was a steak meal, so grisly it was sent back. We have come here for our girls night out for I can't say how many years, this was the final one. Very sad
Food was good, portions VERY small compared to past visits. $18.00 for 2 small crab cake appetizers rediculous!!! Shrimp scampi Gambini was 3 shrimp with 3 small round ravioli for $28.00
Good food but not exactly what I expected based off of the men uh description. Ok service but pretty slow. Really nice atmosphere.
Love this place !... try to make it there every time up from pgh... Nate was a personable and professional waiter.... food is fantastic and the atmosphere as wonderful!... hands down my favorite restaurant in Erie!
