We had a sweet experience - our heartfelt gratitude to Stephanie who has a marvelous sense of what works and what doesn't work! She made the entire afternoon a delight and were it not for her, my daughter would still be looking for a dress! Thank you Stephanie!
The staff was very helpful and friendly, especially since this was my first stop and I am getting married in one month!! They were willing to contact another store to help me make arrangements for my dress as I live in Maryland and was only home for a brief visit. Kelly was very patient with my lack of decisiveness
I got my dress today from David's and I am in love with it. It is stunning! What made the day even better was the young woman I was paired with, Irene. She went above and beyond to make sure I had the best experience I could and make sure I had the perfect dress for me. I would highly recommend her!
Our appointment was at 6 pm. The Stylist was very unpleasant and acted very stuck up. Also one staff member was nice. The rest were not friendly. Came to Davids bridal for My friend's wedding and the stylist wasn't helpful to finding the dresses she wanted as were trying to explain this to her she didnt make it her top priority at all. I don't know if she was new but it doesn't make it an excuse. Also my friend was not informed to making a separate appointment for the Bridesmaids.
I was in about a week ago with a friend of mine. We were looking for her dream wedding dress, and while I can say she found it, I can also say that there were two employees that made the experience less than pleasant. It all started weeks ago when my friend went into the store just to look around, she was helped by Stephanie, who was VERY pushy and only had my friend try on a total of FOUR dresses. After just picking a dress because that is what she was pushed to do, my friend left, not completely satisfied. Then, we went back weeks later, to speak with Mykela, she was ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL! Why is this girl not in management?!? She was the one to make my friend feel truly comfortable while trying on dresses, very knowledge and you just get the feeling that she is there to make the bride feel beautiful, it is not about sales numbers with her. That was until her “manager”, Aby, came and tried to put her two cents in on the appointment, making everything extremely uncomfortable and offering options that we specifically told Mykela we were not interested in. She continued to question why Mykela was doing what she was doing and acting as though she wanted to take the sale. I have been in management for years and I would never attempt to embarrass an employee like that while in front of a customer. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Mykela is the only reason why the appointment was saved, she is the reason that anther dress was bought, and she is the reason why I will continue to go back to David’s Bridal. I wish I could say the same for Aby and Stephanie. They are way less than desired.
