The only thing that wasn't appealing was the 80's music that was too loud.
The cook stood around and did not have the meat on the grill for what I ordered so the food laid on the counter. He had the meat for one burger then noticed he did not have enough meat cooked. All my food was cold.
The fries over cooked, bags so filled with grease by the time I got home. Bun's soggy.
Honestly the best quick burger when compared to fast food joints like mickey-Ds and Wendy's
For those of you who use their online orders, this place does have milkshakes. Ordering online really wouldn't save you much time anyway, as they always make your fries to order, fyi. You'll appreciate they do.
I've included pictures to show what I ordered and their relative size. Bear in mind, I ate a couple handfuls of the fries on my way back to my apartment and you don't see the first burger because I inhaled it. They make, exactly, what you'd think of as the "classic" burger. Also, their Cajun fries, although quite salty, are aromatic and wonderful.
Great tasting, made to order burgers and REAL fresh cut fries. They even post where the day's potatoes come from.
Service was great and friendly staff too.
Good location with convenient proximity to Presque Isle. Almost never busy so dining is easy & comfortable. Only issue, & you get this at other locations from time to time as well, is the music is often times so loud holding a conversation with someone at the table can be difficult.
Their workers were exemplary. Kind, eager, and sincere. I hope they're paid well as they deserve, and considering how expensive things are. Now, as far as I'm concerned, if it's worth it, it's worth it, and they're food is exceptional but, as you can see, it's rather pricey. If I took off a burger and got a shake, it'd be about the same price. I'm actually looking forward to trying their shake given what I just experienced.
My bag was literally weighty, do not under estimate the richness of their fare. Their burgers and fries really are delicious but one burger and probably a small fry would very much satisfy most people. I'm satisfied right now but I've also eaten so much I'm uncomfortably full. I regret nothing.
Had to toss all the food. Manager did not manage her staff well.
Bottom line: Wendy's & Burger King are cheaper. Five Guy's is distinctly better. You decide if you're with the extra $$.
