Was excited to finally try Sara's, but honestly, the food was underwhelming. The Burger had a processed, "cafeteria" taste to it. The hot dog was good, the best part was the bun. The chili was lifeless and bland. The Italian beef sandwich was good and the fries and onion rings are fries and onion rings. Aesthetically Sara's was very fun, a lot to look at and take in. Great people watching spot. Overall enjoyable experience, average food though. Up the food quality and it's easily 4-5 star establishment.

This is a tough one. We were excited to stop. Read great reviews. The staff ran like a well oiled machine and the older lady that cleans the picnic tables. I don't know what she makes but it's not enough. She was amazing. The place is super clean. There's some fun things for the kids to stick their faces in and take picture of.....but man the food was underwhelming. I had the burger. It was not good. Processed patty with that school cafeteria taste. Onion rings were also tasteless. One person in our group did enjoy the fish burger. It's such a whirlwind experience of synchronized chaos during ordering with so many people if you're a relaxed dinner type of person. Drive on. So. It's hard. Has great things. But it's fast food pretending to be something else. I don't know how to rate it. 3 or 4 ?

Great atmosphere! This place nails 50's nostalgia in a class of its own. It's the quintessential first stop on your way out to the beaches and your last stop at the end of the day. Whether you're coming in for a classic cheeseburger and fries, a chocolate shake or just an ice cold old school glass bottle Coca-Cola, no trip to Presque Isle is complete without Sara's. This is one standard that never disappoints and year and year proves that some of the best things never change.

Over the years Sara's has been the #1 favorite of locals and visitors alike. A family owned fast food restaurant you can't forget. Featuring local Smith's hot dogs, foot long and regular with a self serve bar of all the fixins' including dill pickle planks! Famous for their homemade sweet onion rings, with crispy batter by the basket or generous single serving. The soft serve vanilla orange is a favorite. Also delicious burgers and a variety of other goodies.

Hotdog and hamburger joint on the peninsula. Pretty decent food, in my opinion, my mom thinks it's the best place ever. Their hot fudge milkshakes make it worth the trip out there Ann's it looks like ice cream is a popular choice. Their onion rings are also really good. Nice seating areas inside and out and they keep it really clean. The staff is mostly high school kids but they are very friendly and professional. Definitely worth trying at least once, it might be a new favorite!

The 50's decor is classic and ever changing and increasing each year...Where does he find all the delightful throw-back decor, signs to delight familiar characters from childhoods gone by, and cars...you can't stop looking and you will surely want to come back. Quick friendly service ALWAYS ...and with a smile. "Food tastes better when you smile"
