The new IHOP on W12th St. Is very nice. Much nicer than the one we went to in Cocoa Beach, FL. The Apple Toffee Cheesecake is delicious! My husband liked his breakfast combo as well. Service was great.
Great service with a smile. The food was delicious and served pretty quick. The restaurant was clean and well appointed. Fun to have in our neighborhood. !!!
Food; service; surroundings; cleanliness of this brand new restaurant all as expected. BUT SURPRISE... all their food wasn't hot even though it was presented very promptly by an energetic server. So when I discovered that I knew the customers at the next booth, after I finished my lunch I asked them how they liked theirs and they told me it was served too short of warm. The place was opened less than a month ago by people who know the business so I shall wait another month before I try it again and then if they serve my sausages cold again I shall cross it off my list. Too bad as I have liked IHOP since 1972...my brother in law and I had a regular thing back then of taking our four toddlers to IHOP for Saturday brunches
I was so excited to take my wife here today only to be horribly disappointed. I wanted to enjoy it.... we both did. It started small. Waitress taking forever to ask us to order which was fine they were somewhat busy, but then forgetting straws, one of our waters smelling like fish, then once getting our food it got way worse. First they forgot to put bacon on my wife's BACON cheese burger. Then we noticed they completely forgot part of her order, (including sides of ranch and mayo and a side salad which we never did get). It was at this point I noticed that the table adjacent to us had 3 young teens, 2 of which were completely done eating and bored while the third had not even gotten her food yet. Let me throw in that I am not a picky eater I can eat taco bell hella sloppy if need be. But if I'm paying $23.70 for brunch I expect to at least get the food ordered. To top it all off the hash browns smelt in a way that my wife described as "the smell of dirty old people" (she works with the public). Overall we made the best of it and tipped the waitress handsomely despite my better judgement, understanding that much of this was not her fault but I can say not only will I never ever eat there again, I will warn anyone I can.
We were very pleased with our visit. It wasn't super busy, we were greeted with a smiling face, offered a booster seat for my grandson and seated immediately. Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. The food came quickly...nice and hot. My senior omelet with ham, cheddar cheese and tomatoes was delicious!! I was able to order fruit in place of pancakes...great, since I'm on WW. Everyone else's food was yummy and overall, an excellent experience dining out for a quick meal. Tipped the waitress 30%.
